Offering your child a rural, village-based care and learning environment, in which they can follow their curiosity in play and build social relationships in a safe, happy and fun setting, giving them everything they need to move on to school confidently

Funded and fee-paying spaces available for children aged 2 1/2years -4 years old.

Sessions and Prices

Our preschool offers term-time care in a choice of morning, afternoon or all-day sessions to suit you.

Mornings 9am - 12noon

Afternoons 12noon - 3pm

All day 9am - 3pm

Fees for 2-year olds

£6.50 per hour

£19.50 per half day

£39.00 per full day

Fees for 3-4 year-olds

£6 per hour

£18 per half day

£36 per full day

For children aged 3 and 4 who attend preschool using funded hours we will be asking for a resources payment towards your child's care. It will be charged at £1.50 per funded session (half day).

Funded and fee paying places are available.

Childcare vouchers, Pupil Premium and Golden Ticket Scheme are all accepted.

Activities

Our regular activities include:

- messy play and water play;

- cooking and baking;

- painting, crafts and junk modelling

- mark-making and colouring;

- music, dancing and story time;

- garden play and nature trails;

- vegetable and fruit growing;

- pen skills and literacy for pre-schoolers

We encourage children to experience outdoor play as much as possible and use the garden daily and generally regardless of weather, as we have full waterproof suits available for the children if needed.

We also enjoy visits from outside organistaions that aline with our topics including: animal visits, yoga, library, and emergency services.

Our Events

We work hard to offer extra-curricular events to our children and their parents throughout the school year to raise funds and have some fun together. We also try to have some events for our local community to enjoy too!

We regularly host brunch cafes in the local village, fetes and garden parties.

Other regular events include jumble sales, cream teas and children’s discos.

We also have a preschool leavers event every year with an award ceremony and tea party to wish our children a fond farewell on their journey to primary school.
